While no spending habit is right or wrong, John emphasises the importance of knowing whether your spending aligns with your goals by recommending:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Review your spending keenly to identify categories that consistently appear.<\/li>
  2. Ask yourself which purchases genuinely add value to your life and which do not.<\/li>
  3. Create a budget\/ financial plan that aligns with your goals. This budget should be as detailed as possible, including daily, weekly and monthly expenditure needs, including a plan to achieve your financial goal. <\/li>
  4. Consistently track your expenditure to ensure you are on track, and review if need be.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Financial wellness doesn’t start with earning more money, but with an understanding of the relationship you already have with it.
