M-Pesa 

Retail M-pesa – This is the best known M-Pesa person to person Money Transfer service that allows individuals within the safaricom network to send and receive funds through their phones. ABC Bank offers this service over the counter in all its network of branches.

Super Agency M-Pesa – This is a service whereby an existing M-Pesa Agent with a Store Management till number can purchase and off-load float at any of our branches.

M-Pesa pay bill – this is a service that gives our clients the flexibility to receive payments from their customers directly into their bank account via M-pesa. Through this facility, an SME or Corporate client can receive multiple payments through M-Pesa directly in their account held in the bank. Customers can also deposit money into their ABC bank accounts using the paybill number 111777

Bulk M-Pesa – this is a convenient method that enables our clients disburse funds to a number of people via their M-Pesa Account through one consolidated transaction.

Account to M-pesa – This is a service that allows customers (whether in the diaspora or in Kenya) to move money from their account to any M-Pesa wallet in Kenya on the Internet Banking platform.

Airtel Money Services

Retail – Customers can send and/or receive money from any of our branches countrywide

Super agency – Customers can sell and/or buy float from any of our branches countrywide.

Electronic Funds Transfers (EFT’s)

With ABC Bank you can directly transfer funds locally from one bank account to another bank account with EFT using a local clearing house. You can transmit both credit transfers like payroll payments for employees here, as well as debit transfers like for a mortgage payment or an investment here.

Customers and non customers can walk into any ABC Bank branch countrywide and send/receive money via Moneygram by filling the send and receive forms availed at the branches.

Western Union

Customers and non customers can walk into any ABC Bank branch countrywide and send/receive money via Western Union.

Al-Dahab

Al Dahab Exchange is a money transfer company whose head office is in Dubai and with over 24000 outlets worldwide, is a service that caters for our clients in the Diaspora mainly in the Middle East Countries who are constantly on the lookout for cheap, convenient and fast money transfer services

Juba Express

Juba Express is a money transfer company with offices in over 50 countries and territories around the globe. ABC Bank has partnered with Juba Express to offer mobile payments to Kenyans living in the Diaspora looking to send money to their loved back home/Kenya.

Real Time Gross Settlement (RTGS)

RTGS (Real Time Gross Settlement) is a funds transfer system that allows you to move money from your account in one bank to another on a “real time” and on “gross” basis. Settlement in “real time” means transactions are settled as soon as they are processed and not subjected to any waiting period. “Gross settlement” means the transaction is settled on one-to-one basis without bundling or netting with any other transaction.

You can easily, conveniently and securely effect transfers either using our upgraded Internet Banking platform at no charge, or by giving us transaction instruction via email. Your transactions are completed the same day, meaning your beneficiaries receive it on the same day, as long as it was sent before the midday cut-off time.

Foreign Demand

This is an international money transfer instrument that is issued by a bank against its correspondent bank, i.e. where it maintains an account. It is a guarantee by the bank for payment. ABC Bank performs this transfer in British Pound / Euro / Dollar / S.A. Rand / Indian Rupee.
